Tony Canzanella

Servicing matters in virtually every major area of litigation, Tony is an expert in the visualization of complex ideas and the formulation of persuasive presentations. He is especially adept at managing multiple resources in support of complex litigation involving multiple defendants. In addition, he is skilled in the development of detailed technology tutorials designed to teach complex technology through interactive media.

Dave Johnson

As a principal with Resonant Legal Media, Dave leads teams of media designers and technology consultants to create presentations and implement a trial team’s thematic and visual strategy. Guy Joubert

Robin Snyder Dailey
14 years of experience, 200+ cases, including Abbott Labs, Alza v Mylan, Microsoft EU CFI Hearing, Sturm v Citigroup, Civix v Expedia, and Roche v Bayer.
Robin is an expert at analyzing case issues, developing a strategic visual presentation plan, and designing information graphics to simplify and clarify complex concepts. Robin started trial consulting at one of the pioneering firms in the field and is an accomplished art director.

Tom Lofgren
23 years of information design experience, most recently leading teams for intense multi-district litigations like Merck Vioxx and Bayer PPA.
From designing interactive educational programs for National Geographic to crafting opening and closing presentations for high-stakes litigation, Tom excels in concept development and execution. He leverages a diverse skill set of 3-D and 2-D animation and interactive project development, illustration, information design, video editing, and even music composition to assist clients.

Ralph Mongeluzo
10 years of experience, 150+ cases including Gredd v. Bear Stearns Securities Corp., Marvell Technology v. SEC, Monster Cable Products v. AudioQuest, Rambus v. Micron, US v. ElcomSoft, and US v. Union Pacific Railroad.
A practicing attorney for 20 years and a consultant to trial attorneys for another 10 years, Ralph specializes in the use of animation, illustration, videography and other media to explain complex issues and to make critical arguments more persuasive. His work has included high-stakes and bet-the-company litigation in antitrust, construction defect, employment, financial fraud, insurance coverage, intellectual property, medical and legal malpractice, natural resources, product liability, and white-collar crime cases.

Richard Serp
19 years of experience, 200+ cases, including Microsoft EU Antitrust Action, Nationwide Diet Drug Litigation, In re: American Continental Corporation/Lincoln Savings & Loan Securities Litigation, Intel v. AMD and Lloyd’s of London v. Exxon, (Exxon Valdez Litigation).
Richard has played a significant role in the evolution of litigation consulting. Since the early 1990s he has participated in the development of software, styles, and techniques essential to today’s most effective solutions for courtroom presentations. Relying on his knowledge and experience, Richard continues in the tradition of pioneering the industry, supporting the graphics and technical needs of some of the most relevant cases for some of the most important clients.

Craig Veconi
11 years of experience, 150+ cases, including Amgen v. Roche, U.S. v. Reliant Energy, Hoffman v. American Express and CSIRO v. Intel.
From his extensive work as a communications consultant for such companies as Apple, Mattel and Birkenstock, to his B.F.A in Photography from R.I.T., Craig is an expert in providing creative solutions for the most challenging visual problems. Craig focuses on case-issue analysis, concept development, graphic design and production to insure the implementation of professional presentations for each matter.

Olivia Jeffers
10 years of experience, 200+ cases, including USA v. Chevron, Flowserve v. Bank of America, OPTi v. nVidia and Vought v. Gulfstream.
Having served matters from Intellectual Property to Product Liability as both a jury research consultant and a design consultant, Olivia brings a unique perspective when developing a visual strategy for a case. Through innovative concepts and compelling design, Olivia delivers advanced courtroom presentations communicating some of the most complex information with ease.

Katherine Hale Burton
18 years presentation design experience, 100+ cases including Haltom v. Bayer, Thomas v. NL Industries and In Re: TriCor Antitrust Litigation.
Katherine leads teams in the production of concept storyboards, key illustrations, animations and presentation demonstratives for briefs, hearings, mock trials and trials.  Her background in high profile message-oriented public relations design make her uniquely suited to litigation graphics, designing with the audience, the client’s brand positioning, the presenter’s style and the venue in mind.

Nate Hatch
Five years presentation design experience, 50+ cases including Chass v County of Sonoma, PG&E v U.S. and Hummel v Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Nate works directly with trial teams, developing and implementing visual presentation strategies to meet the needs of each specific client. His knowledge extends beyond static graphics to include animation, video and interactive presentation programs such as Flash.

Rob Ortiz
17 years of experience, 400+ cases in every imaginable location including the 11 month Exxon Valdez trial, Exxon Mobil Merger trial, and Coleman v. Morgan Stanley.
Rob’s mastered all the trial presentation systems, can program applications in visual basic, and knows a ton about networking systems and database development, and is an accomplished video editor.  An amazing asset to any trial team, Rob can also do Flash animation and frequently helps with graphics.

Our technology consultants have an average of ten years of experience. They are masters of their trade with hundreds of trials between them in venues all over the US.  

Derek Palisoul
10 years of experience, 100+ cases, including multi-district litigation for Diet Drug, Vioxx, and Benlate. From Dallas, Derek leads Resonant Legal Media’s trial technology practice. In that role, he develops technology solutions to enhance the efficiency of our warroom and courtroom operations. Derek is a master of trial presentation software, database management and is an expert with digital video from years as a videographer and editing commercials and TV programs.
Noel Baird
18 years of experience, 130+ cases, including Exxon Valdez, the People v. O.J. Simpson, and the U.S. v. Microsoft. We are not aware of anyone hot-seating trials with more experience than Noel. He cut his teeth with one of the pioneering trial consulting firms in the country. He’s an expert at the effective use of technology in the courtroom and can wire a courtroom, build an exhibit database, edit demonstratives, and network a warroom in a single day.
Geoff Roberts
11 years of courtroom experience in over 50 trials including Castle Harlan v. U.S., Bayer Baycol, and U.S. v. Conrad Black. An expert with Sanction and Trial Director, Geoff has endured trials lasting as long as four months and those with a billion dollars at stake. His assistance has been essential in several of our high-stakes trials. Geoff is proficient with video and audio editing as well as programming and warroom/courtroom set up.
Ian Andryszak
5 years of experience on 40 matters including Thompson v BenQ and the Enron Executives Criminal Trial. Ian has deep experience working in Trial Director with specific expertise in deposition video clip production.
Ryan Fisher
10 years of experience on over 90 matters including Raiders v NFL, Chiron v Genetech and US v Simels. Ryan utilizes his broad experience in the hot-seat to design a case-specific solution that can be seamlessly integrated into the trial teams presentation.

Media Artists

Our media artists are skilled specialists – presentation designers, illustrators, Flash animators, 3-D animators, videographers and photographers who are among the best in their respective specialties.

Jared Schneidman
There are few illustrators with Jared’s unbelievable rendering skill. Internally, we are still looking for something he either can’t or hasn’t drawn yet. Scientific American featured his work and software “Master” books reveal his tips and techniques. For our clients, Jared’s skills in 2-D and 3-D illustration translate into a huge value—incredible illustrations done with the speed that only 20 years of experience can provide.
Luis Figuera
Luis is a professional graphic artist with over 20 years experience and has amassed a tremendous breadth of skill from being a television art director, web programmer, and lead designer at a communications firm. For years, Fortune 500 companies trusted Luis to design their billion dollar government contract proposals. Today, Luis brings that skill in conceptual rendering to the courtroom.
Rich Hill
With a keen eye for detail, Rich has worked as an information designer in-house at a law firm before joining Resonant Legal Media. He now has several trials under his belt, having handled a wide range of assignments spanning many mediums.
Katrina Calvert
Five years of graphic design experience, 100+ cases including Finisar v DirectTV, Ericsson & Sony Ericsson v Samsung, Anascape v Nintendo.
Katrina specializes in developing creative multimedia solutions to distill complex trial themes into the clearest terms possible.  She has worked on cases in state and federal court on subjects ranging from IP to environmental, medical and pharmaceutical matters.
Alexis Marina Kershner
Alexis has over 10 years of diverse graphic design experience, the last 4.5 years specifically in litigation graphics. She has worked on over 150 cases and is fluent in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Flash, video editing, 2-D animation, and HTML.
Henning Schaefer
Seven years of litigation graphic design experience, 100+ cases including Rambus v Micron, MicroUnity v Dell & Intel, Savaglio v Wal-Mart Stores.
Henning specializes in 3D and 2D animations and graphics, helping trial teams make the most of their visual arguments. In addition to design skills, Henning is adept at video synchronization and layering voice over tracks to animations.
